Braided

The family went to a Holt auction this weekend, so I did the girls hair. I didn't happen to snap a picture of Grace's- they were running out the door, but I did manage to get a quick picture of Qiulans!



I don't have any How-To pictures, as I was rushing, but I'll explain it.

Take about a two inch section from both the left and right side of the face, and braid it back towards the back of your head. Don't try to braid it down, it won't pull back later. Secure both braids with small hair ties- preferably clear, but whatever you have. After that, leave them down and pull the top half of your hair back as if you were going to put it in a half pony- but braid it instead. Secure it, and then twist into a bun- securing with bobby pins. Once the bun is up to your standards, take the two braids and twist one around clockwise, and the other counter clockwise, then secure with more bobby pins.
